In the eyes of the law we (ideally) should be held to same bar or set of standards but socially we find that this is clearly not the case. I got thinking about about how the standards our actions our judged by are actually malleable and based on many factors such as the perceived difficulty of those actions and the probability of that outcome... calibrated to us!
